Top 5 Favorite Las Vegas Buffets
I've been living in Las Vegas for several years now and have sampled almost all of the buffets in town. Now I'd like to share with you some of the best buffets Vegas has to offer... Carnival World Buffet - Rio Hotel & Casino This buffet has been a favorite among locals and tourists alike for years. The buffet is so big you will burn calories just walking around! You have to see it to believe it. There is a nice separate seating section for you if you have a Harrah's Diamond or 7 Stars card (also a separate entrance to avoid the long lines). The Buffet – Wynn Las Vegas What impressed me most about this buffet is the quality of the food. Many buffets stress quantity over quality but not here. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious! The prime rib – excellent! Highly Recommended. Be sure to check at the slot club booth for any promotions for new members. Once in awhile they'll offer a free buffet for new members once you've earned so many points on your slot club card. Dishes - Treasure Island This buffet is smaller and a little more unique than the typical buffet. They have many made-to-order items like special salads, pastas, etc. When you are done with the main meal be sure to head on over to the desert section. They make freshly made tiny donuts that are terrific – hot right out of the oven! I think I went back for seconds for those donuts. Spice Market Buffet - Planet Hollywood Here is another “big” buffet. Not quite as big as the one at Rio but just as good. I like the setting which is downstairs away from the casino. I love the tomato basil soup that they usually offer and there is really something for everyone's taste. If you are staying at Planet Hollywood, they sometimes have $5 off coupons inserted with your room key envelope. Or, once I just showed my room key and got the discount as well. Feast Buffet – Red Rock Station Okay, this buffet is not on the strip. It's actually about as far west of the strip as you can go. I list it here because it's probably the best locals buffet in town. It has a very nice, modern and comfortable setting with good food offerings. If you are renting a car and want to do something different, I suggest taking the drive out to this casino. The casino itself is beautiful and, if you are staying there, has some of the nicest rooms in town. It's just a very nice change of pace from being on the strip and the price is a little cheaper than eating at a nice buffet on the strip. Enjoy!
